Cry Jailolo is a contemporary interpretation of traditional dance from Jailolo, West Halmahera in the North Maluku, Eastern part of Indonesia. Inspired by Legu Salai and Soya-Soya dance from the Sahu tribe in Jailolo, West Halmahera. This piece is an expression of optimism and hope that the coral reefs of Jailolo Bay will heal and the fish will return.
